The Independent Support Service in Bromley is being rolled out under the Bromley Consortium (consisting of Bromley Mencap, Burgess Autistic Trust, Bromley Parent Voice and Experts by Experience).
We offer sign posting to services offering time limited support to parents of children as well as young people with SEN who are going through the statutory assessment and Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan process provided by the consortium
We will be running accessible workshops to help young people with SEN understand what Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans are and how this will affect them.
- Provide easy read accessible information about Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans for young people
- Provide accessible workshops that are peer led for young people with SEN
- Provide information and sign post to the relevant Consortium service for the EHC process for parents of children and young people with SEN
